Love Language depicts an abstracted form of language that I view as a way to communicate with my grandparents. Even though I can not speak Vietnamese with them, they always send boxes of the fruit that I love, which I view as their way of showing affection in lieu of verbal communication. Utilizing cardboard as a canvas, the work includes drawings of wax apples, persimmon, and dragonfruit in varying styles.
